Cile is a native Newberrian who has returned to her hometown after having lived in Atlanta, Houston and Charleston, SC with short stints in New York, NY and Paris.
She worked for several years as a realtor with Daniel Ravenel Real Estate Company, in Charleston, SC, one of the most active real estate markets in the country.
She and her husband, a Citadel graduate and recent retiree, are in the process of restoring a home in downtown Newberry, which is listed on The National Register of Historic Places. They both enjoy gardening, reading, their miniature schnauzer Fritz, re-connecting with old friends and the much-less-hectic lifestyle offered by a small town.
Additionally, Cile worked as a television news anchor and reporter, taught Public Speaking at the College of Charleston, served on the Board of Directors of the Junior League of Charleston, was a Deacon at First (Scots) Presbyterian Church, President of Colonial Dames 17th Century, Charles Towne Chapter and is currently serving on the Board of Visitors of her alma mater, Columbia College in Columbia SC.
She holds a Master of Arts in Journalism from the University of South Carolina. This, she feels, has been a great help in communicating effectively with her customers.
